Who Qualifies For A Bursary Or College Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application process.
Applications are now open and can close on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to satisfy the subsequent criteria:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a house having a combined gross domestic income that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined household profits will not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients instantly qualify here for funding and need not post any evidence of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS nsfas 2025 Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent people from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.
Applicants are reminded to offer the proper Identity Document numbers, names, and surname, as mirrored of their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds people who are finding out or intend to research in a public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who here wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
